![]() Identical to a human being in appearance, but having a few psionic features - and high resistance to toxins, of course.) Built a Rom Aliengen and just wasted her for a bit, until I recustomized her and gave her a decent backstory. Then I started really playing with the Aliengen feature and created a Darwin Child. Hard to penalize someone for not being able to keep up with LaForge.) ![]() (My argument for that being that Pakleds may be linguistically simple, but they have to have something on the ball to keep their crazy-quilt ships flying. Made a Caitian, a Ferasan, a Ferengi and a Pakled engineer. (All the ships of that toon had morbid names - Vampire, Nightshade, etc)Īfter that I made a human and a klingon as my archetypes, they are basically my mains. Well let's see, one of the first toons I made was an alien, an all purple humanoid, with species listed as 'Undead' I hadn't quite clued into the Kobali so I made a race that kind of fit that life cycle. I even use the canon Odyssey uniform on a vast majority of them, I try to make them look as normal as possible as well. Only with my main captain of each faction will I consider the actual story of the game into their little bio, otherwise the rest of them are fairly generic. The exception is probably my 32nd century themed temporal recruit. Especially for Starfleet characters, which I rarely give exciting backgrounds or different themes even if I do like to write some little blurbs about them. ![]() I usually go for a pretty mundane background and theme for most of my characters so there's not much that would differ between one or the other. Other than that I made an older alien-gen Denobulan captain for fed as well, which is easy enough because there are tons of options for them (it's kind of baffling that they aren't a pre-built race to be honest). I am pretty happy with the result, and that character has quickly become one of my favorites with their kinetic Appalachia build. You can't even get close to the eyes or the skin color, but you can to an extent make their faces less flat and rigid like most of them in game. I made a Rigelian captain after one of them appeared in Lower Decks, and attempted to make them look less rough like the one in the show.
